Art We There Yet Skoolie Floor Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Bus Conversion Floor Plan<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Making a floor plan for the converted school bus (often called a &#8216;skoolie&#8217;) is a bit of a challenge. &nbsp;We have 198 square feet of space to convert into a recording studio, photo studio, and living space for 2-4 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luckily, Jos\u00e9 is an artist and enjoyed making our floor plan almost as much as he enjoys painting. &nbsp;He used<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sketchup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> SketchUp<\/a>&nbsp;to create this 3D model of the floor plan. &nbsp;The space is divided into three sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VpjAhQN-Bs4\" width=\"760\" height=\"415\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Main Living Area<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Photo editing and painting studio<\/li><li>Living space<\/li><li>Kitchen<\/li><li>Bathroom<\/li><li>Bed for <a href=\"https:\/\/artwethereyet.com\/blog\/artist-residency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"visiting artists (opens in a new tab)\">visiting artists<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The kitchen floor plan will have a propane-powered oven and range, a propane-powered refrigerator, a sink, and a bit of counter space. &nbsp;The bathroom will have a composting toilet and a small shower stall. &nbsp;The living space will have a couch that will fold out into a bed for visiting artists and guests. &nbsp;It will also have a table that will double as Jos\u00e9&#8217;s photo editing\/painting space and an eating area. &nbsp;We will have a closet for storing clothes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure studio<\/li><li>Bedroom<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The recording studio floor plan will be separated from the rest of the space by walls, flooring, and a ceiling constructed with soundproofing materials. &nbsp;Our bed will fold up into the wall for recording sessions. &nbsp;The underside of the bed will have a white backdrop so the space can also be used as a photo studio. &nbsp;Lighting gear and recording gear will be stowed away in storage space on either side of the bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1628\" height=\"1200\"
