WORKSHOPS

Student Artwork Gallery

Every child is an artist.
-Picasso

This artwork was painted by children in Art We There Yet workshops. This beautiful collection will continue to grow with each mile and each workshop. By the end of the journey, it will contain artwork from children across 23 countries, stretching from Alaska to Argentina.

Our prediction?

We predict that not a soul would be able to tell the who and where of each painting. Whether the child was seated in a well-lit, air conditioned school building, or on the dirt floor of a refugee tent. Whether she is from the high mountains of Chile or the plains of Nebraska. Whether his parents have savings, or not even enough for the next meal. Whether she speaks English, Spanish, or Quechua, or the color of his skin.

The artwork here reflects a simple truth – we are more alike than we are different. Children are children, people are people.
