The Story
We began filmed Roamer in Fall 2019 while driving up the East Coast of the USA. There we recorded Molly Sharp and Claude Arthur.
We continued up the East Coast, and that is where our path crossed with Ani Burnet.
Winter weather began to set in, so we turned south once more and found our path crossing through Tennessee. We stopped in Nashville and there we recorded Dave Brainard and Craig Lackey in Fall 2019.
As we continued to head south, winter nipping at our heels, we passed through Alabama. Our paths crossed with Arnold Montgomery in Gadsden, and we recorded him there, parked in his driveway!
When the pandemic hit in Spring 2020, we were in Texas. We hunkered down in Van Horn, where we met David Santana who jumped in on the project.
With the pandemic in full swing, we headed north during Summer 2020. A random series of events led to an extended stay in Driggs, Idaho. That’s where our paths crossed with Ryan Ptasnik.
Fast forward a year, and we finally found ourselves in the perfect spot to record the final piece…the vocals! To see more about that “perfect spot”, stay tuned for what’s next on the Art We There Yet channel!
